Congratulations to Tova N. Tsikis, who has joined Gladstone, Weissman, Hirschberg & Schneider, P.A. as an associate attorney. Ms. Tsikis previously served as a law clerk with our firm, as well as Rumbold & Seidelman, LLP, an adoption and reproductive law firm in Bronxville, New York. She was also a judicial intern for The Honorable Renee Goldenberg of the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, and a research/teaching assistant for several professors while in law school.
An adoptee who was showered with unconditional love and positive life experiences, Ms. Tsikis looks forward to bringing families together and helping to resolve a variety of family disputes.
Ms. Tsikis holds a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University – Shepard Broad Law Center, from where she graduated summa cum laude and ranked No. 5 of 244 in her graduating class. While in law school, she was the Senior Associate Editor of the Nova Law Review, and earned the Book Awards for Property Law, Evidence, Professional Responsibility, and Jewish Law Seminar. She was a member of the Jewish Law Students Association, Family Law Society, and Inter-American Center for Human Rights.
She graduated summa cum laude from Ramapo College of New Jersey in Mahwah, New Jersey with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & a New Jersey Elementary School Teaching Certificate. She holds an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Science from SUNY Rockland in Suffern, New York. In addition, she spent a semester abroad at Neve Yerushalayim College in Jerusalem, Israel pursuing International Studies.
Her publications include “My Summer to the Right of the Judge: Insights and Observations of a Judicial Intern” – The Florida Bar Family Law Commentator (Winter 2014) and “Identity: Societal and Legal Ramifications with Special Focus on Transsexuals” – Nova Law Review (Winter 2015).
